How to become our mentees?
Every September, application will be opened to F.4 and F.5 students in Hong Kong. Interested students may fill in the Google form and attach necessary documents. We will NOT accept applications by fax or post. The deadline for application will be 22 September 2023. If you have any enquiries, please email us at info@boundlesshk.org.
Selection criteria
In the selection process, we would look at both students’ academic and non-academic achievements, as well as their short personal statements outlining their aspirations and how they could benefit from the program that Boundless offers.
Applicants will be assessed on a holistic basis whereby a number of areas will be taken into account: academic performance, non-academic achievements, interview performance, commitment, and enthusiasm exhibited, and the financial background of the applicant (see remarks below).
Screening based on financial background
As a program that targets students from under-resourced backgrounds, we screen all applications based on the financial background of the applicant’s household. While exceptions are allowed for those who provide reasonable justifications in their applications, all other applicants must meet ONE of the following five conditions in order to be considered:
*The cut-off line will be set at 75% of the median monthly household income by household size according to the General Household Survey. As of the first quarter of 2023, the cut-off line will be as follows:

Applicants who fulfill our selection criteria will be informed individually, and interviews will take place in mid October. We aim at interviewing at least 80% of applicants to ensure that students with potential are given adequate consideration.
